A cold St. Patrick’s Day with snow in some areas

[trib_ndn wid=1 vid=25721265](PIX WEATHER CENTER) — This week starts off quite cold and even a little snow for some, but warmer temperatures and a little rain are on the way.

Another week brings another threat of snow as a storm passes by to our south, bringing snow to parts of the tri-state area.

Light accumulations are possible south of the city Monday morning.

Places in central New Jersey could see 1 to 3 inches and southern New Jersey could see more than 6 inches.

The snow will miss the city and northern regions.

Regardless of snowfall, Monday is a cold day as highs around the region only reach around 30 degrees.

By Tuesday, high temperatures rebound to near 40.

The middle of the week features milder temperatures and some wet weather.

Wednesday sees highs in the upper 40s to near 50 with showers mostly later in the day.
