Man Googles himself, finds out he’s on ‘Most Wanted’ list

PALO ALTO, California (PIX11) — A California man who innocently Googled himself learned it was on the state’s “Most Wanted” list — and turned himself in.

Cops say Chistopher Viatafa, 27, fired several rounds from a semi-automatic handgun at a party at a senior center in San Laredo.

No one was injured, but Viatafa landed on Northern California’s Most Wanted list.

Last week, Viatafa decided to Google himself and discovered the top search result was his mugshot.

Viatafa then turned himself into police.

“Although it wasn’t good judgement that landed him on the website, he did use good judgement in turning himself in after seeing this photo,” the San Leandro police said.

Viatafa, who has been charged with discharging a firearm in an inhabited dwelling, is now listed…
